Crèche & kindergarten Munich-Fürstenried

Wichtel Akademie München Fürstenried is located at the edge of Südpark and offers three crèche and four kindergarten groups. The daycare centre offers a variety of play and educational activities. Its outdoor areas include a sandbox, a jungle gym, and a water playground that invite kids to run around and play. Multilingual care is standard at Wichtel Akademie. In Fürstenried, there are German-English groups as well as German-Spanish groups with native language speaking teachers.

Facilities at our day-care centre in Munich-Fürstenried

The day-care centre has a floor area of around 1,300 square metres and is spread over three levels. The ground floor contains the cloakrooms, all group rooms for the crèche and kindergarten children as well as quiet rooms and sanitary facilities. The basement houses a large play and sports room as well as a children’s kitchen, a cosy relaxation room and a spacious area for meetings with parents. The upper floor offers a lavishly equipped art studio for creative projects. All areas of the day-care centre are designed in accordance with the tried-and-tested concept of the Wichtel Akademie — with an abundance with of light, a clear structure and a multitude of playful and educational resources for both the crèche and kindergarten.

A large open-air area (around 730 sqm) with a sandbox, climbing equipment, rocking animals, wet-play area and willow tunnel invites children to play and let off steam.

Due to the close proximity to the Südpark, the nursery and kindergarten children enjoy regular forest visits, during which they are able to discover and experience nature.

The day-care centre is easily accessible by public transport and by car. Ample private parking spaces are available in front of the building for drop-off and pick-up times.

Childcare costs from September 2023

Each place at the crèche or kindergarten is subject to a one-time enrolment fee of EUR 450. Thanks to the parental contribution subsidy from the Free State of Bavaria, families can reduce their childcare costs by 100 € per month until they start school. The 100 € allowance is valid from September 1 of the calendar year in which the child turns three and is paid until the child starts school. This is not yet included in our childcare costs. The childcare costs are adjusted by approximately three percent per year. The currently valid prices until August 2023 can be found here.
