Parents in Bavaria have the opportunity to apply for various state benefits to which they are entitled and which can contribute significantly to financial relief. Economic youth welfare

Wirtschaftliche Jugendhilfe (economic youth welfare) is income-dependent and must be applied for at the Sozialbürgerhaus . Contribution subsidy

The contribution subsidy does not have to be applied for separately; it is automatically offset against the monthly contribution from the Wichtel Akademie. Every child receives this subsidy from 1 September of the year in which they turn three years old.

Bavarian crèche allowance

The Bavarian crèche allowance is income-dependent. The joint income must not exceed €60,000, with the second child and each additional child the income limit increases by €5,000. It can be applied for from the child's first birthday and amounts to up to €100. You can apply to the Bavarian Family and Social Affairs Centre.

Bavarian family allowance

The Bavarian family allowance is not dependent on income and can be applied for either as part of the parental allowance application or separately at the Bavarian Family and Social Affairs Center. It amounts to €250 in addition to child benefit; from the third child you will receive €300. Families are entitled to this support for children aged between 13 and 36 months. Many families forget to apply for the family allowance, especially if they have previously lived in another federal state or abroad.
